How to Delete Your Account at Bigcloudy Client Area?

Introduction

Your Bigcloudy account contains important service information, billing records, and support history. For security and safety reasons, we do not offer an automatic “Delete Account” option inside the Client Area. This helps protect your data, prevent accidental deletions, and ensure no active services are affected.

In this article, you will learn why account deletion is restricted and how you can request removal if you still want to close your Bigcloudy account.

1. Why Account Deletion Is Not Available in the Client Area

At Bigcloudy, we prioritize customer safety and data protection. Deleting an account instantly can lead to several risks:
  • Loss of access to invoices required for tax or business records
  • Accidental removal of VPS or Dedicated Server information
  • Unprocessed payments or refunds being disrupted
  • Loss of support history that may be needed in the future
  • Security risks if a login is compromised and the attacker tries to delete the account
note Note: Even if you are certain, deleting an account is permanent. Consider alternatives such as cancelling services, updating contact details, or disabling notifications.

2. Recommended Steps Before Requesting Deletion

Before asking to remove your account, please ensure the following:

  • All services (VPS or Dedicated Servers) are cancelled or terminated as required
  • No invoices are unpaid
  • You have downloaded any required invoices or records for your files
  • Your team members are informed (if applicable)

In many cases, updating your details or disabling notifications may solve the issue without deleting your account.

3. How to Request Account Deletion

If you still wish to permanently remove your Bigcloudy account, our team can assist you manually.

Steps:

  • Log in to your Bigcloudy Client Area.
  • Go to Support.
  • Open a Support Ticket under the Billing/Account Management department.
  • Mention that you want to delete your account.
  • Our team will verify your identity and process the removal securely.

note Note: Once the account is deleted, all data linked to your profile will be removed permanently. This includes invoices, service history, and ticket records. Account deletion cannot be reversed.

Conclusion

Although Bigcloudy does not offer an in-panel option to delete your account, you can request removal through a support ticket. We encourage reviewing your options first, as deleting an account permanently erases your service and billing history. Our support team is available to guide you and help with any changes you need.
