FAQ

How long does it take for DNS record changes to propagate

DNS propagation typically takes 5 minutes to 4 hours, depending on the TTL value and global DNS caching. Some ISPs may take up to 24–48 hours.

Will updating DNS records cause downtime for my website or email?

Changing certain records like the A record or MX record can cause temporary service disruption if the new values are incorrect. Always double-check entries before saving.

Can I add multiple MX or TXT records?

Yes. Many services require multiple MX or TXT records for example, Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, and domain verification services. Ensure that each entry is added exactly as provided.

What if my DNS provider doesn’t support a specific record type?

Some DNS hosts do not support advanced records like CAA, SRV, or NS updates. In that case, you may need to transfer your DNS hosting to a provider that supports all required record types.

Will I get access to cPanel?

Yes. all of our shared and reseller hosting packages come with cPanel or our custom BigCloudy control panel. Login details will be emailed to you after activation.
