This article provides instructions to reset your cPanel email password managed through cPanel. A secure and unique password is essential for protecting your email communication.

Steps to Reset Email Account Password

1. Navigate to cPanel login page and enter your cPanel username and password.

2. Within the cPanel interface, identify the section labeled “Email” or similar terminology related to email management.

3. Click on “Email Accounts” to access the interface for managing your email accounts.

4. Search for the email account for which you require a password reset. You can identify it by the username portion of the email address.

5. Click on the “Manage” or “Change Password” option associated with the target email account. This will typically display next to the account listing.

6. Enter your desired new password in the designated field. Ensure the password adheres to your hosting provider’s security strength requirements. These requirements often involve a combination of uppercase and lowercase letters, numbers, and symbols.

7. Consider using a password manager to generate and store a strong, unique password for this account.

8. Re-enter the new password in the confirmation field to verify it matches the initial entry.

9. Click the “Update” or “Change Password” button to implement the new password for the selected email account.

You have successfully reset the password for your email account in cPanel. You can now use the new password to access your email through a webmail interface or an email client application.
